Welcome to By Laurelle (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your purchase of permanent makeup and related services (collectively, “Services”). By using this website or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms.

1) Services & General Information

We provide permanent makeup and cosmetic tattoo services, which may include (but are not limited to) brows, eyeliner, and lip blush, as well as consultations and touch-ups.

Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding medical concerns.

2) Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to receive Services, unless local law allows otherwise with verified parental/guardian consent.
• You must provide valid identification upon request.
• We may refuse service to anyone for safety, sanitation, or policy reasons.

3) Consultations, Health Disclosures & Contraindications

For your safety, you agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding your health history, medications, allergies, and any medical conditions. Certain conditions or medications may require medical clearance or may make you ineligible for treatment.

You agree to notify us immediately of any changes to your health status before your appointment.

4) Results, Healing & Color Retention

Permanent makeup results vary by individual. Skin type, lifestyle, medications, sun exposure, aftercare, and other factors may affect pigment retention and final healed appearance. No specific result can be guaranteed.

During the healing process, it's normal for color to appear darker, lighter, or uneven. Final results are evaluated after healing is complete (often 4-8 weeks, depending on the service and individual healing).

5) Aftercare Responsibilities

You agree to follow the aftercare instructions provided. Failure to follow aftercare may affect results and may increase the risk of complications. Additional corrective work required due to improper aftercare may be charged at our standard rates.

6) Booking & Payment

• Booking policies may vary by service and will be confirmed at the time of scheduling.
• Remaining balances are due at the time of service unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Accepted payment methods: Cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal.
• Prices are subject to change at any time; confirmed bookings will be honored at the confirmed rate unless you reschedule beyond a stated policy window.

7) Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Please read carefully:

• Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment.
• Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of your appointment may require a $75 rebooking fee to schedule a new appointment.
• If you are more than 30 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened, rescheduled, or treated as a late cancellation depending on the remaining time and service scheduled. Fees may apply.

If we need to reschedule due to artist illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to rebook you as soon as possible.

8) Touch-Ups, Corrections & Additional Sessions

Some Services may require a touch-up session for best results. Touch-ups are not always included unless explicitly stated in your booking confirmation or service description.

• Touch-ups must be scheduled within 4–6 weeks of the initial appointment (if applicable).
• Touch-ups scheduled outside the recommended window may be priced as a new service or at a higher rate.
• Work performed by another artist or studio may require an in-person consultation and may be subject to corrective pricing.

9) Safety, Sanitation & Refusal of Service

We follow industry-standard sanitation and safety practices. You agree to follow studio instructions, including any pre-appointment preparations.

We reserve the right to refuse or stop a service if we believe it is unsafe, if you appear to be under the influence of drugs/alcohol, if you are disruptive, or if you have not disclosed relevant medical information.

10) Photography, Video & Marketing

We may take photos/videos of your treatment area for documentation, training, quality control, and/or marketing. Your written consent will be obtained where required by law.

If you do not wish your images to be used for marketing, you must notify us in writing before your appointment.

11) Intellectual Property

All content on this website (text, images, logos, designs, and branding) is owned by or licensed to By Laurelle and may not be used without written permission.

12) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, By Laurelle will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or Services.

You acknowledge that Services involve needles and pigments and may carry risks, including (but not limited to) redness, swelling, irritation, allergic reaction, infection, scarring, and dissatisfaction with cosmetic outcomes. You agree to assume these risks to the extent permitted by law.

13) Refund Policy

Due to the nature of Services and time reserved, completed services are non-refundable. If you have concerns, please contact us promptly so we can discuss reasonable options, which may include an adjustment appointment at our discretion.

14) Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, you agree to contact us first to attempt to resolve the issue informally. If we cannot resolve it, disputes will be handled as required by applicable law and may be subject to mediation or small claims procedures depending on your jurisdiction.

15) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules.

16) Licensing, Facility Registration & Compliance

By Laurelle operates in accordance with applicable health and safety requirements and local regulations for body art services in Los Angeles County, California.
